Starcraft coach tweets about Junsu's soccer skills

The coach of Hwaseung, a Starcraft pro-gaming team, recently uploaded two new pictures and praised Junsu's soccer skills. Han Sangyong tweeted "I played soccer with the MBC game team. The opposing team was the 'celebrity' soccer team, MEN. Afterwards we ate and took pictures together". He also said "Xiah Junsu and Lee Wan are very good at soccer. Because there were professional soccer players present, we lost. We must have a rematch!"

SHINee & TRAX Jay Show Warm Friendship To TVXQ

Following Super Junior's Eunkyuk support for TVXQ, (U-Know Yunho and Choikang Changmin), other SM artists have started to show their love for TVXQ as well.

On January 8 at MBC 'Show! Music Core', SHINee and Jay from Trax visited them in the standby room MBC Dream Center, showing their warm friendship between each other. An SM representative told Newsen that "SHINee and Jay were unfortunately unable to attend yesterday's comeback stage because of their schedules, but were able to make it to today's 'Music Core' standby room to support TVXQ."

On another note, TVXQ will once again present an energetically charged stage on the 9th on SBS 'Inkigayo' with their title track 'Why (Keep Your Head Down)'.

John Egg defends JYJ's Junsu amidst current controversy

Amidst the recent controversy over Junsu's tweets, a friend of the trio JYJ has stepped forward to defend Junsu. John Egg, also known as elbowyeish on Twitter, posted the lyrics to "Fallen Leaves" on his Facebook recently. He explained in a tweet that the song was written by Junsu for Cassies and the two remaining members of DBSK. It was because of this dedication that he was so "devastated by the lyrics to [Keep Your Head Down]."

Be sure to read John Egg's message:
“This is Junsu’s heart not for a girl he loves… but it was written for you fans (Cassies) and the other 2 members (Homin). This was why he was so devastated by the lyrics to KYHD. Please stop bashing Junsu. He is a sweet angel from heaven…. He only deserves our love and support. Let’s always stay by his side so he can stand on a grand stage to sing this song for us again with a HUGE smile and joy in his heart. We love you Junsu! We’ll always stand by you no matter what… because we know who you really are… we know your true heart… we know your character… that’s who we all fell in love with… and nothing will ever change that.

"This line, “빛의 별들의 향연 the brightness of the star’s lights” is referring to Cassies… the stars in the sky… Cassiopeia shining bright… but where is that bright light now? It’s being stifled by bitter fighting and hate. Please let the li…ght shine brightly again. Please be proud stars in the sky. Please show not only JYJ or Homin but to the rest of the world… that Cassies are a proud fanclub… Cassies show love and not hate. Cassies forgive and do not point fingers… Cassies always stand by the boys… because love never changes.
"One day, I was with Junsu… he shared a song with me in the car that he’d written. It was still unfinished and we heard it through his phone… It only had the music with no lyrics yet… I asked him where the lyrics were… he smiled and …started sharing the lyrics with me… he started talking about how most people would interpret this song as love between a man and a woman. But he said his intentions were written that this song is between him (JYJ) and the fans (Cassies). He also said it was towards Homin. He looks forward to standing on the same stage with them someday. Until then, he’ll just wait and love. Junsu’s last 2 tweets after all this happened were the lyrics to this song. He was very emotional that day thinking about the DBSK days as 5. Can you imagine how he’s feeling now? People have totally misunderstood his heart and made him a liar and betrayer. Junsu is so innocent. You can see and hear his pure heart in this song. Remember, this song was written BEFORE all this chaos started. Please… don’t spread and increase the hate. Cassies must stay united. Cassies must stay strong for their boys. Don’t let something that took 7 years to build crumble overnight.”

Producer Park Saeng Yee Throws Away Prejudices Because of Kim Jae Joong and Junsu

"All this time I've had a critical attitude towards pop idol culture.
In full honesty I look down on the Korean music industry that leans too heavily on idols, so I've never thought of writing songs for idols either.
This side of me met Jaejoong and Junsu last October autumn when I wrote the OST for SungKyunKwan Scandal.
On the day that I worked with them on the recordings, it was the most impressionable day in the 10 years that I have produced so many varieties of music.
Were the stubborn prejudices that I had had for so long wrong?
Was I the ignorant person?
If you look from the results, the two gave their best performance and sentiments in the limited amount of time they were given.
They both have unique vocals, which allowed me to know about their individualistic characteristics.
These things form from hard work and experience.
For singers, it is the most incomprehensible and hardest to resolve - like fate.
After they finished recording, I exclaimed how such a deformed idol-based Korean music industry could create such perfect idols.
This is definitely not flattery or sweet-talk."

Juniors Touched by TVXQ's Humble Acts

While there’s been a lot of buzz over TVXQ’s official comeback this week, representatives from within the music industry have also praised the duo for their impeccable manners and humility.

TVXQ completed their second comeback stage through MBC’s “Show! Music Core” on January 8th, and reportedly visited all the waiting rooms with autographed CDs in hand for the other singers.

Considering how they’ve been in the industry for seven years, this distinguishes them as ’seniors’ to most of the participants of the show. However, representatives were shocked at how they personally made a visit to each waiting room and made an effort to greet and reach out to everyone first.

One representative commented, “TVXQ suddenly came into our waiting room and greeted us, so I was very surprised. Their gazes weren’t one of arrogance, but full of genuineness.” One girl group member, who asked to remain anonymous, spoke with a reporter from Sports Today and commented, “The TVXQ seniors visited all of their juniors’ waiting rooms and greeted them. It was surprising, but also amazing. They’re seniors that I want to learn from.”

A lot of juniors were said to have been impressed by the act of respect the duo showed, instead of the haughtiness one would expect from people of their stature.

TVXQ Reveals Meaning of "Why (Keep Your Head Down)" in Interview with "Entertainment Relay"

The boys of TVXQ have been quite busy with their comeback promotions. The duo took a break from their busy schedules to sit down with "Entertainment Relay" to answer many questions the fans have been asking.

During the midst of the current controversy, TVXQ remained professional and revealed the true meaning behind the song "Why (Keep Your Head Down)". The song is about a "man's strong determination to overcome a breakup." The boys laughingly joked around as well, as Changmin explained that in addition their new strong masculine image, they wear heavy necklaces too.

TVXQ has already made their comeback on KBS's Music Bank and MBC's Music Core. They have not only demonstrated their strong dancing ability with their latest single "Why (Keep Your Head Down)", but also have proved that they have what it takes in vocal ability with "How Can I" against a now tougher K-Pop competition.

2 years and 2 months is a long time for these guys to be away from the Korean stage, so be sure to check out their latest interview below as they express their feelings of gratitude to the fans for their patience.

OBS PD blasts “idols” in a series of tweets regarding the TVXQ/JYJ situation

Amidst controversy swirling around SM Entertainment artists voicing their opinions through a series of messages addressing JYJ Junsu’s tweet, an OBS PD that previously interviewed all five of the TVXQ members expressed his own thoughts on January 8th.

Yoon Kyung Cheol is PD to shows such as “OBS Unique Entertainment News,” “Weekend Entertainment Magazine,” and “Good Events, Bad Events, and Weird Events,” and works with a staff of 30.

Yoon began his series of tweets by writing, “Looking at idols lately, it’s not even funny anymore. Do they think they’re a gang or something? Why are they ganging up and fighting? They’re not even the people in question, why leave messages like that? If they’re public figures, they should act like public figures. If not, just fight properly. Why are there laws? Don’t use the love of fans for your own personal profit, xx idol.”

He continued, “Idols are really so funny. Who do they think made them into who they are? They probably think it’s themselves or their CEO or something. Fools, the people that created you are your fans, how could you be so ungrateful?”

Yoon re-tweeted a person that stated, “They were trained thoroughly by their company, even the emotions that they are born with is a product of training,” and further added, “It’s upsetting.”

He continued, “The problem is that the idols don’t know their place and are acting out like this, but not one adult is restricting them. Just because they’re nicknamed ‘adult-idols’ doesn’t mean anything.”

When asked whether he was the PD that interviewed TVXQ in the past, he added, “You’re right. When I interviewed TVXQ at the time, they were so happy with themselves that they even wanted to have their children become group singers.”

The PD concluded his series of tweets by writing, “Idols exist to give us hopes and dreams. I hope that they continue to exist under that reason inside of me, and as much as they are models for their fans, I hope they love all so that misunderstandings do not happen amongst their fans. I genuinely ask for them to, please.”

TVXQ - Keep Your Head Down Full Rehearsal on KBS Music Bank

Micky Yoochun’s Fanclub Makes A Warm Donation

On the 31st of December, the day Micky Yoochun (Park Yoochun) won the Best Male Newcomer Award at the KBS Drama Awards as ‘Lee Seon Joon’ in ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’, Park Yoochun’s fanclub gifted Kim Jin Su (13), who is suffering from a brain lesion disorder, with presents and a donation. Their story was aired on KBS 2TV’s News Time on January 3rd.

Though Jin Su’s mother herself is fighting with cancer, she lives every day nursing her son who is unable to move his arms or legs freely. Park Yoochun’s fanclub ‘Blessing Yoochun’ heard about the mother and son’s situation through Field of Love (withgo.kr) and immediately began collecting donations. They sent 5 million Won to pay for Jin Su’s treatment along with other presents to the hospital in Daegu that Jin Su is currently admitted in.

The members of the fanclub who visited the hospital with a Field of Love worker had tears in their eyes as they watched over Jin Su, who breathes through a tube in his throat and eats with a tube connected to his stomach. One member cheered on the mother and son as she stated, “I hope his mother stays strong, and I hope great things happen to them from now on.”

The members of Blessing Yoochun are ‘Auntie fans’ and are people who overflow with love, not just for their favorite celebrity, but also for the community and those in need. Other than their donation to Kim Jin Su, they also donated 10 million Won to Park Hyun Bin (12) to pay for his burn-healing treatment fees through the Hanlim Burns Foundation.

Blessing Yoochun is a fanclub that only women over the age of 30 can join and the members unite through their love for Yoochun to help the community.

Trax’s Jungmo and Super Junior’s Eunhyuk lend their support for TVXQ

Following in the footsteps of his labelmates, Sim Jaewon, BoA, and Super Junior’s Shindong and Sungmin, Trax’s Jungmo left his own message addressing JYJ’s Junsu’stweet.
On the afternoon of January 7th, Jungmo wrote on his personal mini-homepage:

“I’m getting so frustrated, so I’m going to write a few things…
No matter how I see it, this isn’t right.
How could you repay kindness with ingratitude…
Do you really not feel who they are and how much they’ve cared for you?
It’s inevitable for everyone to change, but I’m getting scared now.
They started this because they liked music and the stage, but where has that all disappeared to now?
It’s upsetting, truly…”

Super Junior’s Eunhyuk also lent his support to TVXQ by visiting their comeback performance at KBS’s “Music Bank.”

He stated, “I watched the TVXQ seniors comeback performance, but I think I was more nervous than them. Their impressive performance exceeded my expectations, it’s impossible to not be impressed it. I’ve learned a lot from them. It may have been a stage with two people, but I do believe they’ll show a fully packed stage. Watching them made my throat close up, I hope they’ll be able to promote without any pressure.”

SM Entertainment further commented, “Despite handling their own schedules, Eunhyuk made sure to text and call Yunho and Changmin to congratulate them on their comeback. A lot of celebrity friends visited the duo as well. They probably earned much strength from the visits.”
