SME and Mnet Work Together For TVXQ's Release

There has been much speculation about when the relationship between SM Entertainment and Mnet media will be resolved. Today, we got news that a reconciliation may come soon between the two companies.

Mnet Media and SM Entertainment have not been working together since the beginning of 2009. None of the artists under SM Entertainment have released their songs on Mnet since the original quarrel. SM Entertainment boycotted both the 2009 and the 2010 Mnet Asian Music Awards.

However, today when TVXQ's single, "Why (Keep Your Head Down)", was released, Mnet was the first site allowed to release it. This prompted questions about if SM and Mnet were close to an agreement.

SM Entertainment stated, "In the past, there were problems with our relationship to Mnet Media. During our ongoing consultations we have been receiving good results from Mnet."
